Dirt 5’s career mode will let players choose from events all over the world and in a variety of classes: regions from New York City to remote Greece await as you take on events in customizable rally calls, buggies, unlimited trucks, and rock bouncers. You’ll also be able to play on your own, online, or in up to four-player split-screen multiplayer.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (PS5)
A new Assasin’s Creed adventure is officially on the horizon, and this time it will transport us back to the Dark Ages as Viking assassin Eivor. Building on the RPG elements introduced by Assassin’s Creed Origins and Assasin’s Creed Odyssey, you’ll be present with dialogue options, character customization such as tattoos and hairstyles, and all manner of weapons to try out. Set during the 9th century in Norway and England, you’ll be spending most of your time leaping and climbing your way across four kingdoms in the UK. With a holiday 2020 release date, it’s looks set to land on Sony’s next-gen console.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales (PS5)
Yes, Miles Morales is swinging his way onto the PS5 in a new Spider-Man adventure. While there was initially some confusion surrounding whether Miles would be featuring in an expanded remaster of the 2018 release, Insomniac confirmed Miles Morales will be a standalone game. During the latest PS5 Future of Gaming event, we got to see a glimpse of the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man in action in a cinematic trailer, and we can hardly wait to find out more.

Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition (PS5)
Dante and Nero are landing on the PS5 for the launch date window of the console this November. With the special edition, you can expect to dive into the hack and slash action with upgraded next-gen graphics that make the most ray tracing architecture to render DMC 5 with more realistic lighting and reflections. In a PlayStation’s official blog post details how the PS5 will give the game more immersive 3D audio and add additional content such as the new Turbo mode which speeds up gameplay, and Legendary Dark Knight difficulty.

Hitman 3 (PS5)
Death awaits. Agent 47 is back in the upcoming instalment of Hitman in what will be the conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy. We got to see a new debut trailer during Sony’s latest PS5 reveal showcase, confirming it will be landing on the next-console next year. Agent 47 is said to take part in “the most intimate, professional contract of his career”. In a PlayStation blog post, it states that the “stakes are high and when all is said and done, Agent 47 and the world around him will never be the same again.” Sounds like a very dramatic conclusion is in store.

Far Cry 6 (PS5)
Set on the tropical island of Yara, the next entry in the Far Cry franchise sees you play as Yaran Dani Rojas, a guerilla fighter leading a resistance against the dictatorship ruling over the nation. Said to be an island “stuck in time”, you lead your fellow fighters in a bid to free the island from its tyrannical leader, Anton Castillo (played by Giancarlo Esposito). We don’t know much about the gameplay just yet, but it’ll no doubt deliver another helping of Far Cry’s own blend of open-world action.

God of War 2: Ragnarok (PS5)
Ragnarok is coming. Yes, God of War 2 is happening and it’s set to land on the PS5. During Sony’s recent showcase, a short but goose-bump-inducing teaser trailer announcement featured Kratos’ voice saying that “the time draws near, you must prepare yourself”. Ooh. God of War: Ragnarok is set to release sometime next year, and it’ll likely take us on quite the journey.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 (PS5)
Looking for a game with a bit of extra bite? Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 puts you in the seedy underbelly of Seattle, which should suit you just fine as a vampire ready to test out your new fangs. Turned as an act of vampire terrorism during the ‘Mass Embrace’, you’ll soon get caught up in vampire faction politics, where you’re still just trying to deal with your new way of life. This is an RPG at its core too, filled with player choices, a strong narrative, and branching dialogue options too.

GTA 5 (PS5)
Sony kicked off its latest PS5 showcase with a helping of action from GTA 5, confirming that a shiny expanded version of Rockstar’s wildly successful game is coming to the PS5 sometime in 2021. The trailer shows off some of the more recent DLC content, so it looks like this expanded version will be coming with everything and more. Not only that, but it will also be enhanced on the next-gen console.
